Key Features of Panespol® Brick Wall Panels:

Panespol are an artificial brick wall panel made with a patented fire-resistant polyurethane back-panel and surface polymer that contains real mineral to create an authentic brick look and feel that is almost indistinguishable from real brick.

Why Is Panespol Different From Other Fake Brick Wall Panels:

A number of key features set Panespol apart from other types of artificial brick wall panels:

• Panespol brick wall cladding panels have real mineral in the surface layer and a rigid back panel that is firm to touch and resistant to impact (see the end of our Panespol video to see our panel strength).  Other foam fake brick wall panels are softer and can be damaged and leave visible marks if pressed or bumped.
• Our brick wall panels have Australian fire certification that has been tested in Australia.  Other imitation brick cladding often has USA or overseas certificates that are often not recognised in Australia.
• Panespol brick look panels have a 3D profile complete with ‘imperfections’ and variance that enhances the authenticity of the  brick profile.  Other false brick cladding is simply rendered fibrous cement panel that lacks a true 3D brick effect.
• Our range of faux brick cladding is pre-painted with high-quality oxide-based paints and requires only touch-up painting.  Other artificial brick requires multiple undercoats and top coats which adds significant costs and time to installation.

How To Ensure You Achieve An Authentic Brick Look When Installing Fake Brick Cladding Panels

Read below or watch videos of our simple and easy brick panel installation process to ensure you achieve the result you want in a matter of hours.

• Measure the wall you are installing and calculate the number of brick panels needed to cover the full length.
• Plan the cut for the first panel remembering that the off-cut from the first wall panel you trim can be used to finish other ends of the wall.  In some cases it can be better to cut slightly more off the first panel to create a more useable section.
• Using a circular saw or jigsaw cut the end of the panel to begin cladding the wall from one end.  TIP: Cut the panel face down for the best finish.
• Apply adhesive to the back of the wall panel as a bead or blobs in a grid pattern.  If you are using the brick panels externally ensure you use an appropriate adhesive for exterior applications.  Ensure the interlocking fingers on each panel are glued to the wall.
• Place the panel on the wall for fixing.  Place a screw with a washer through the panel to secure the brick panel against the wall while the adhesive cures.  TIP: Position screws in the ‘mortar-joint’ area of the brick panels for easier touch up when finishing.
• Place the next artificial brick wall panel against the previous panel making sure the edge interlock fully seats.
• When all panels and installed, and the adhesive has dried, fill the interlocking joints with filler for a seamless look. Also fill any screw holes where the panel is fixed.
• Spread filler with an artist brush to make the joint take correct visual texture and shape.  Let the filler dry and touch up joints and holes with correct colour paint using a small artist’s brush.
