About Slat Wall Panels

Slatwall Panels are a popular retail display panel system consisting of horizontal grooves though a MDF board panel.  A high-strength aluminium slatwall extrusion is inserted to strengthen the groove and mount slatwall accessories for retail displays.  PVC slatwall extrusions are also available but we generally recommend aluminium extrusions for an increased weight rating and durability.

What Colour Can Slat Wall Come In?

Advanced Display Systems offers a range of over 500 colours. We can customise our slatwall with any colour, texture or woodgrain in the Polytec, Laminex or Formica colour ranges. This allows you to create a display that matches the exact needs of your brand, shop, store or retail space.

Customising Slatwall To Match Your Store Layout

Our custom slatwall services offered include cut-to-size services, edgings & trims, custom grooving and base shelves or plinths.

Slatwall panels come standard in a 2400mm x 1200mm size, but can easily be cut to whatever size you need, including creating a half groove on panels so two panels can be stacked for higher height retail display walls.

How To Install Slatwall Systems

Installing slatted wall panels involves screwing through the extrusion into the support ‘studs’ of the wall to secure the slat wall in place. The greater the number of screws the greater the strength of the wall.  If you are joining panels together on the wall, we recommend a half groove on the edge of each sheet so that when the sheets are placed together with an aluminium insert, no join will be visible, creating a seamless wall display.
